Pumpkin cake is a high-protein fodder product obtained by processing pumpkin seeds in order to obtain oil. The cake is rich in vitamins B and E, it also contains relatively much potassium and phosphorus. It is a source of protein and an essential amino acid lysine. Due to the presence of cucurbitin (amino acid) in pumpkin cake, it has an antihelminthic effect. Pumpkin oil cake is not only a valuable protein (up to 45% crude protein) additive, but also an excellent stimulant for digestion and contributing to the recovery of the gastrointestinal tract, thanks to a significant proportion of fiber (20%) and oil.
